How does your CV stand out?

Updated: May 18, 2022

Giving out CV’s is not that easy.
Recruitment agencies or companies receive many CV’s per day. You need to make it easy for them to notice your resumé.

  1. Do some research on the format of a proper CV. It should be easy to read, and completely up to date.

  2. Make sure you know what information is important and relevant as well as the order of the details

  3. Remember to proof read

  4. Write an introductory cover letter – who you are, jobs you are interested in and how any company will benefit having you on board

  5. When you are ready to give out your CV, use the preferred method of delivery your CV – by hand or email. If you are not sure, rather contact the company or agency to confirm

  6. Follow up! After a few days of delivering or emailing your CV.

  7. Give the company or agency a call or send an email to make sure they have received your resumé.
